We've compiled the following guidelines to ensure your company's brand identity is represented at its best on Yapster.

Brand Colours

In order of preference:

  1. HEX

  2. RGB

  3. CMYK

  4. Pantone

Our team will ask for a primary and secondary colour for your workspace. Here's where you'll see these displayed in your workspace:

The “primary” colour is used as the main colour of all interactive UI elements: buttons, menus, etc. The secondary colour is only used in instances where a UI element has an ‘active’ and ‘inactive’ state—the primary example being the tab bar buttons.

Brand Logo

All brand assets should adhere to the below dimensions. If you have any brand guidelines you're happy to share as a pdf this will also be helpful to our build team.

Logo size

Minimum size:

420px (width)

or 45px (height)

Optimal size is 48px tall by no more than 420px.

Logo format

In order of preference:

  1. EPS

  2. PNG (transparent background)

  3. JPG (background colour #fefefe /r254 g254 b254)

When adding your logo image, remember that it shouldn't be taller or wider than few hundred pixels as it will be scaled and possibly distorted. It's also better to avoid small text on the logo.

Here are some examples of logos that work well in your workspace: a thin horizontal logo with a brand name works well, whereas a logo containing an image as well as smaller writing is likely to be distorted. Using the admin application and clicking manage brand will give you the option to try multiple options to find the perfect fit for you.
