What are Yapplications?

Also known as the Apps tab, this article covers everything you could access through your Yapplications tab.

Your apps tab is available on the far left-hand side at the bottom of your screen. Clicking the apps icon should give you a page view along the lines of the screen below.

The three icons above are powered by Yapster and are generally added to your company's Yapster workspace as standard, there may be variations depending on your organisation. The admin and dashboard icons are present in administrator accounts only.

The Yapster help icon gives users access to the complete hub of helpful articles and videos housed on Guide Dog https://guide.yapster.dog/en/ and will be the quickest way to resolve any issues users may be having.

The apps tab is also perfect for any other technology that users need in order to complete their daily tasks. The purpose of this is to make life easier for staff, with integrations between systems meaning there's no need to remember multiple different logins and passwords.

What sort of things should I expect to see here?

  • URL links for easy access to important websites

  • Advisory hubs

  • Rewards and benefits platforms

  • E-Learning & L&D accounts

  • HR portals - holiday, illness trackers

  • Rota technology

  • Feedback & survey results

These additions to the apps tab are dependent on which suppliers are used by your company. Talk to your administrator if you have any ideas on what you think should live in your organisation's apps tab.
