Here's how to request your staff updates be populated in Yapster through Selima

Once you've signed up to Yapster, it's time to request your HR feed from Selima following the steps outlined below!


Step 1 - Request the connector (FTP Account) from Selima

  • This can be done by contacting your Selima Account Manager advising them of the following:

We have recently signed with Yapster and would like the ability for Yapster to configure with the Filezilla FTP account to allow them to integrate the HR metadata.

Please can you send support@yapster.info the XML and the password to allow them to load it into Filezilla?

Please can you advise of the timeline?

Note: the time to build this varies depending on how quickly we receive the above details.


Step 2 - Yapster Support Team receive the details from Selima

Once received, the Team will inspect the export to ensure data integrity and will be in touch should there be any issues.

Once the export is verified, we will schedule for the connector to be built during the next available sprint. These usually occur every fortnight, although this may vary


Step 3 - Yapster build the connector

Once your connector is built, your employee details will be populated into your workspace. You (and a select group of early platform users) will receive an invitation to onboard onto Yapster and explore the directory.


A member of the team will also be in touch to discuss and plan out your launch, so should you have any issues or questions regarding the connector or the directory, these can be raised immediately.
