Yapster is committed to connecting underlying systems for organisations to increase operational efficiency and drive high adoption, so we've worked on 4 different options to integrate with several "best in breed" partners who share our vision for a unified customer tech stack. These options increase in complexity depending on the end goal of the customer requesting the integration:

Metadata integration

Yapster is able to import user data from a partner HR platform to create a dynamic messaging directory. This then allows mutual customers to have structured and unstructured conversations through 121 and group yapping and newsfeed. The data updates daily based on your field adding new users, removing users to their relevant location yap group ensuring it is always up to date.

Approximate timelines vary depending on whether this connector request relates to an existing partner, or a HR platform that we have not worked with previously.

Start Up Yapplications

Yapster is also able to add a branded icon & url link to any 3rd party platform the customer directs us towards. With this level of Yapplication, users don't need to remember the web address for the relevant platform - but they do need to know their User ID and Password.

Standard Yapplications

Yapster can support Single Sign On to platforms linked via the Yapster 'apps' tab - thereby allowing Yapster users to seamlessly click into the partner platform from within our app (without needing to remember a web address or user ID / password for the partner platform).

Premium Yapplications

This is the most advanced level of technical integration, enabling mutual customers to receive:

  • system-generated 'news' posts within their Yapster instance (5* service recognition or a perfect score on a learning test, for instance); and

  • system-generated 'yaps' (1:1, site or role level yaps notifying of CX or Learning completion stats with a push notification, for instance).
