Yapster has an in-app polling feature which is a great engagement tool and another brilliant way to get feedback from your teams.

Polls are anonymous in Yapster. A user will get notified when a new poll is created, however, they will not see the results until they have voted.

Users will not be able to see who has voted, they will only see the percentage of the results chosen.

Creating a poll is easy!

Simply go into your ‘yaps’ tab at the bottom of your screen and click the pencil icon in the top right corner.

Select Poll from the drop down menu

Now it's time to pose your question and add your poll responses. Add a poll subject and poll image. You can change the standard poll options and add individual images for each option.

Depending on your poll subject, you can add or remove options. Type your new response in the box provided and then click Add Option.

Choose your poll parameters, such as whether this is an open discussion and whether you'd like to add a deadline. Click the green + to adjust your deadline.

Click the green plus to adjust your deadline.

Once you're happy with your parameters it's time to choose your participants and any additional administrators needed. Clicking Add Participant(s) and Add Administrator(s) will open your directory view so you can find the relevant individuals or groups of users.

Once you've added your participants, click Continue.

Your poll is now live!

Click a poll response to vote. Your vote will be highlighted in blue, and you'll see a message at the top of the screen reminding you which poll option you chose. You can click Change your vote until the deadline of the poll.

Click Discussion to move to the attached poll conversation - this is a great place for additional feedback or comments.

In the top right corner of the yap, you'll see the below icons:

To edit a poll you have created, click the (i) in the top right corner.

To save those changes, click ‘update’ in the top right corner .
