An announcement is a news feed post containing crucial information that all staff need to be made aware of. Your administrator will add announcements to the news feed when and if there are critical communications that need to be distributed.

Because these posts are so important, you will need to click the animated icon denoting an announcement in order to acknowledge the information posted and dismiss your notification.

Clicking the announcements filter next to your home news feed will give you a view of all announcements posted by your organisation, meaning your vital updates don't get lost in busy news feeds.

If you are an administrator, you will see an Engagement Stats in the bottom right corner of the post that looks like this.

Clicking this will take you to a specific Dashboard that outlines certain metrics that may be important to you including:
