Tagging users in your newsfeed post increases engagement and is a great opportunity for employee recognition.

Whether these @mentions are used to shout out and praise colleagues, or to direct specific team members to your content because it applies to them directly, users who are @mentioned on the newsfeed will receive a push notification rather than normal newsfeed notification settings because you are signposting the post directly to them.

Add your media and type your caption as normal. Within your caption box type the @ symbol and begin typing the full name of the user you want to add.

If you know the username or nickname of the user you can use this to search for them instead. For users in large organisations, this search will return a large list of users. To save time, type @Firstname_Surname to find your user.

Once you've shared your post, your @mentions will be displayed in an easily recognisable blue so you know your @mentions are live.
