What are Polls?
Yapster has an in-app polling feature which is a great engagement tool and a brilliant way to get quick feedback from your teams.
It is designed to quickly reach a specific target audience using your directory groups with a time-sensitive purpose.
They usually consist of one question with multiple choices to be answered before a set deadline.
Users get notified when a new poll is created, so they know their input is requested
In order to ameliorate the bandwagon effect, current polls results are kept secret, until the user selects their choice.
Users will not be able to see who has voted, they will only see the percentage of the results chosen and the number of responses submitted by the total requested.

Here's is the guide on how to create a poll.
Where will Polls sit in Yapster?
Polls sit in your yaps tab separately from existing group yaps and are differentiated by a grey bar chat infographic so you can easily distinguish between yaps and polls.
Why aren't polls inside chats?
Polls, even those with the same participants as a group yap, will always sit separately from a yap because polls are temporary.
Setting Poll Deadlines
Yapster's poll functionality is ideal for on-the-spot feedback and quick decision making from your colleagues.
When creating your poll, why not add a deadline to motivate your colleagues to get involved. Deadlines work best when set in the near future - far enough away for users to have the chance to view the poll and make their choice, but not too far away that users forget or find that the content is no longer relevant.
Recommended Maximum Number of Poll Options
Polls are created with one main question or decision. Yapster recommends a limit of 10 possible options for your recipients to vote on, with users able to vote for their choice once.
