Using @mentions in your messages in group yaps ensures users won't miss your messages sent in busy yaps.

To tag a user in your message, type the @ symbol along with the first name of your chosen recipient. This will trigger a list as the system searches for your recipient.

Once you've found who you want to tag, click their name to add to your message.

In larger organisations, this list may be extensive and will need to be narrowed down to full name, or you can always type @Firstname_Surname to manually insert your @mention.

Top Tip: whenever you need a direct answer from someone in your group chat, remember to add an @mention when sending your message so they know that something requires their attention.
