Grant and revoke permissions using the Admin Yapplication

You may need to grant or revoke additional permissions for users, you can do this by individual. The following guide will focus on how to grant and revoke permissions to individual users.


Step 1

Open Yapster on your desktop browser (app.yapsterchat.com) and head to your Apps tab to access your Admin yapplication. This will open a new tab displaying 4 main headings - one being Manage User Permissions.

Step 2

Click Go under Manage User Permissions to open the Portal. You will be presented with a search bar to find individual users who need permissions to be granted/revoked.

Step 3

Use the search bar to find your user and click Add. You can choose to add multiple users at the same time if you're giving a number of specific users the same permissions.

Click Remove on your selected users if you change your mind or make a mistake when choosing your individual users.

Step 4

Once you've selected the users you'd like to concentrate on, click Edit Selected.

Step 5

The next page you'll see will contain a list of possible permissions you can grant/revoke. If the boxes are greyed out, you may not have the necessary access to grant these particular permissions. You'll see a reminder of your selected users at the top of the page.

Step 6

Once you've ticked the required permissions for these users, remember to scroll to the bottom of the page to and click Save to update any changes made. Once you've completed the necessary tasks, you can close the admin window.
