The short answer to this question is YES!
You can upload PDFs from your mobile device or via desktop. PDFs can be added to yaps, and shared on the newsfeed too.
To add a PDF to a yap on your mobile device, click the + icon to add media to your message and select Choose PDF from file library. You'll be able to browse the PDF files you have downloaded to your phone. This works well if you regularly receive emails containing PDFs that you can save and distribute via Yapster.
To share a PDF on the newsfeed from your mobile, click the pencil icon to start your post and select the + to add media. Here you'll also be able to select Choose PDF from file library if you feel that this should be shared to your whole timeline. Remember to signpost your PDF in your caption before publishing your post by clicking Share.
From your desktop (app.yapsterchat.com) you'll be able to add PDFs to yaps & news posts by following the same process:
Click + to open media options menu in yap;
select Choose PDF from file library.
This will open your documents library on your desktop so you can search for the PDF you'd like to share. Once you've selected your PDF file, click Open.
You'll see a PDF thumbnail attached to your text box once the PDF has loaded, ready to send by clicking the airplane button once you've typed your message to go with the PDF.
Once the PDF is posted, your colleagues will be able to click to open the PDF on their devices.
