Organisations that use Reward Gateway can now request that their Reward Gateway platform be integrated into Yapster.
This is achieved by adding an SSO-enabled Yapplication in the Yapster Apps Tab. SSO authentication eliminated the need for repeated passwords and login entries, as your staff get automatically authenticated via Yapster.
It will look something like this...
Setup Guide
Here's what we need from you in order to give your teams seamless SSO-enabled access between the two systems.
Step 1 - Request details from Reward Gateway
Ask your Reward Gateway contact for your:
Entity-id
ACS URL
Confirmation of the unique id being used for your setup.
Step 2 - Send these details to the Yapster Support Team
Once you've received these details, please send to the Guide Dog Team at support@yapster.info. They'll be able to schedule the work needed by Yapster during the next admin sprint (which occurs fortnightly) and can let you know exactly when to expect this configuration to be completed.
Step 3 - Test the connection
Initially, the Yapster Dev team will configure the app completely, but will only enable admin access. This means that only admins will be able to see the app. The Yapster team will ask you to test the connection in your app, to ensure you are happy with the integration and everything is working as expected.
Step 4 - Launch the Reward Gateway SSO Yapplication to your organisation!
Once you are satisfied, you can indicate to the Yapster Team, when you'd like to launch the app out to all users.
Top Tip: We recommend that when you launch the app, you should do so with a post to your newsfeed, advertising the new yapplication, encouraging users to check out the app and explore the benefits of the new integration.
