You can use the function and location directory groups in combination to speak to employees with a specific job title in a specific location. We call this intersecting.

For example, you can make a group Yap with all Bar staff in a specific Area, for this example, we'll use Area 5.

You can use this intersecting feature to Yap any combination of job roles/ departments and locations.

These chat groups will remain in your inbox until you get rid of them AND will automatically add and remove people following any relevant changes on the HR system.

If an employee’s role/location changes on your HR system, they will be removed from all yap groups associated with their old role and added to all yap groups relevant to their new position.
