Instructions on how to make a group yap for a location or by role can be found here.
The following instructions should help if you want to create a conversation with a group of individuals. This could be a few employees from the same location who happen to be doing the same training modules, or a group of employees from a mixture of sites and roles for example.
Step 1: Click the pencil icon in the top right corner of the screen to choose between:
Group Chat
Poll
Private Message
Step 2: Add your yap title by typing in the text box for the Topic of this conversation. Click the orange camera icon to add a group conversation image.
Step 3: Once you're happy with your conversation title, choose your Parameters. By default, all group conversations are open discussions, which means in the conversation everyone can interact and send messages. If you would like this to be a broadcast conversation, click the red X. Only the owner of the conversation and any administrators will then be able to send messages.
Step 4: Add your Admin(s) and your Participant(s). Use the search bar to find the individual users you'd like to add to your yap.
Step 5: Tap the βοΈ to add and β to remove users from your yap and once you've chosen your participants click Continue
Step 6: Click Create to start your yap and send your message.
