The Admin Console is available to those users who have extended permissions or who need to perform administrative tasks within Yapster.

  1. You can find your Admin Console (if you have been granted this access) by heading to the Settings Cog ⚙️in the top left corner of your app.

  2. Clicking the Settings Cog ⚙️ will reveal your side panel options of:

    • Notifications🔔

    • My Profile😀

    • My Uploads🖼️

    • My Devices📱

    • Terms and Conditions📝

    • Admin Console🔧

    • Settings⚙️

  3. After clicking into the Admin Console view will include:

    • Bulk Actions [this allows you to perform actions on whole sets of users at once],

    • Individual Actions [this allows you to find and manage individual users],

    • Past Actions [this allows you to keep track of tasks completed, remember to click the button to refresh this log].

Why should I need to use Bulk Actions?

Here's what you can do in Bulk Actions:

  • export user data to a CSV file;

  • import users from a CSV file;

  • import joiners from a CSV file;

  • import leavers from a CSV file;

The above tasks are largely used by internal Yapster stakeholders, the only tasks you may need to action in Bulk Actions are:

Why should I need to use Individual Actions?

This is a log of all users (past and present) so you are able to investigate individuals' login issues in Yapster

Searching for a user here will allow you to do the following:

  • Check Account Status [Active, Offline, Disabled, Redacted]

  • Check & Add Registered Devices [Clicking+Adding a registered device automatically sends a login link]

  • See No. of Accounts in that Users name

  • Configure an account as Broadcast Only [Recommended for Comms accounts which aren't monitored]

  • Configure a user Auto-yap Notifications to be muted

  • Unredact a user

  • Reset Password
