Communication to your teams prior to the Yapster launch is as if not more important than those comms sent during launch.

The main reasons behind these pre-launch announcements are to share your decision with your teams. If your colleagues understand and relate to your thinking behind bringing a communication tool like Yapster into the business, they're more likely to get involved and invest in the collective mission. This is the perfect opportunity to tailor your message based on who you're reaching out to and highlight Yapster's specific benefits to them👍

This could be:

  • a newsletter or memo for teams to share at sites 📝

  • for those colleagues with a company email - here's your chance to get them involved 📧

  • this message could also be distributed via any existing Whatsapp groups prior to moving to Yapster.

Posters highlighting Yapster's uses are also available if you're thinking of sending out specific resources.

The main priority is to ensure that a clear use case is communicated across the organisation and staff have a good experience through the onboarding process: How are staff introduced to Yapster? How is the invite process communicated out to staff? Are staff adequately incentivized to onboard and engage with the content?

Managers play a role in ensuring high onboarding rates as they require their teams to join, and help them use, Yapster and they are tasked with driving conversations in their location groups: Think about the comms sent out to store managers that needs to be specific to them and their role within their team - what are you expecting of them?
